Trick or Treat!
This year there was no need for candy, so we just went to visit the Grandparents. I chose a flower costume for her. You can ask her Papa the significance of Little Blossom!

This week Amelia had her 6 week doctors visit. She is up to 10lbs. 10oz. and is now 23in. long. She changes every day! We also took her to have a few pictures made before I go back to work. Here is my favorite!

The Pumpkin Patch
Today we made our first trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Even though she slept through it, we had a great time. Micheal's parents were able to meet us there. Shelley, Dewayne, Emma, Jerry and Wanda were there. Even Billy, Cassie, Ainslie and Cindy were able to come. It was a beautiful day.

Amelia's first doctors visit
Today Amelia had her first appointment. Due to the fact that she was eating well and her labs were so good, we were allowed to go two weeks before our fist visit. This was a blessing because I don't think we could have gotten our act together before then. We were able to spend a few minutes at my office visiting all the girls and the Doctors. Amelia's outfit was a hit! The tennis shoes that Natalie got her matched perfectly the outfit one of my Talladega patients gave her. After that we were off to the doctor. Our pediatrician is Dr. Walley at Redmont Pediatrics. This is also were Shelley and Dana work so I feel right at home there and already know most of the staff. After turning in our new patient paperwork and stripping baby girl down we were off to the scales. A whopping 8 lbs 14 oz, a pound weight gain and 22 inches long. All was checked out and we were given a clean bill of health. Next visit three weeks.

County Line
This weekend was a two day convention for Christian Harmony at County Line Church. Micheal's family for those who don't know are very active in shape note singing. Mostly we go to Sacred Harp singings (you can hear it on the Cold Mountain cd, or our Ipods if you are interested). Today's was similar but different. I promise that makes sense to me. Back to the point at hand, it was Amelia's first trip to the church. She wasn't to fond of sitting in the front with the singing but was fine sitting further in the back. We attempted to get the kids in their matching outfits to have pictures made but between a newborn, toddler, and a sleepy two year old this was the best we could do.
