Birthday Fun

Well the day finally arrived, my little girls first birthday! First I want to thank everyone for helping her have such a great time. I wouldn't have made it so far without my friends and family. Aunt Christy made a beautiful cake and matching mini cake with cupcakes galore. It was as good as it was gorgeous. Great Aunt Dianne was able to drive in from Tennessee and that made it even more special. I thought I was going to make it without shedding a tear until we sang Happy Birthday, then I gracefully lip-synced while attempting to calm myself. The kids had a great time and played so well together! My savvy friend Caren made us a special gift of a DVD chronicling Millie's first year. I cried then too!!

First trip to church

Trick or Treat!

This year there was no need for candy, so we just went to visit the Grandparents. I chose a flower costume for her. You can ask her Papa the significance of Little Blossom!

Week Six

This week Amelia had her 6 week doctors visit. She is up to 10lbs. 10oz. and is now 23in. long. She changes every day! We also took her to have a few pictures made before I go back to work. Here is my favorite!

The Pumpkin Patch

Today we made our first trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Even though she slept through it, we had a great time. Micheal's parents were able to meet us there. Shelley, Dewayne, Emma, Jerry and Wanda were there. Even Billy, Cassie, Ainslie and Cindy were able to come. It was a beautiful day.

One Month Old

Today Amelia is one month old. Time is flying by. Now she can smile and has even laughed out loud. We can already tell that she is focusing better with her eyes but doesn't track with them yet. She is holding her head up too. What did we ever do before her?
